Project 4

I used the Riff Machine to come with a basic melody that did'nt sound to weird and then made a drum loop.  In this piece I tried making an intro which I think came out nicely.  another thing I did diferently was I had two drum patterns the one for the intro and the other for the rest of the song.  i think the part that I transposed could have been a bit smoother but over all I do'nt think it turned out too badly.

Project 3

For this project I really had to rush because I was falling behind.  I used the basic drums a kick drum a snare and a high hat.  I used western glide FL Slayer for my lead guitar and Boo Bass and the Sim Sinth for the background.  I used the  Riff Machine for the Slayer and then used the ghost channel for the Sim Sinth and Boo Bass. I think once I added the Sim Sinth automation clip it sounded a little weird because when I chose the melody I had forgotten I would need to change every thing with the volume and Sim Sinth.  I am not really that pleased with it because it sounds like sometimes things don't really sound right, this may be because as I said I was rushed to hand it in so soon.

Project 2

For this project I used a kick drum a snare and a high hat for drums. For guitar I used something called western glide or something like that on FL Slayer. I really like it a lot compared to the other guitars in FL Slayer because it doesn't sound as much like an electric guitar (I don't like most electric guitars). I then used ghost patterns to write my Boo Bass part. I didn't think it sounded as nice when I transposed everything I'm not really sure why. I used the Riff Machine for my Slayer part and I think it sounded pretty nice.

project 1

I used four drums including the kick drum. I changed the clap to cymbals and switched to a different snare.  I kept the high hat mostly because it was good for dividing the kick drum.  Because the cymbals were overpowering I tried different cymbals.  Since the music sounded too busy I tried to make it simpler by cutting some things out.  Then I felt like I was running out of time so I polished it up and sent it.  It doesn't sound as if a real drummer is playing and I wouldn't have it as a solo but I don't think it sounds to bad.
