Project 8

I started out with a simple 3xosc that I added waobble to and made an automation clip for. My melody was from a sytrus preset that I made an automation clip for and put in a little while after the 3xosc. I had about 5 drum loops that I used at diffrent times throughout the project. I did'nt add everything at once when I started the project because diffrent things came along at diffrent times but as I was working I tried to think of diffrent ways I could link events in the video to my music. I used static from 3xosc to match the static when the AT. AT. walkers first apear and in the end when the view changes to the jet fighter that was going down I used a Sytrus preset called Majesty. i ended My project. I linked Gross Beat to the melody and used it at diffrent points throughout the project. I stoped the video with the jets going off into the distance with a trumpet in the backround that I got from another Sytrus preset.

Project 6

In this project I originally was trying to make  a flute sound but then as I was working I decided to try and make a violin sound if you listen sto the sound you can tell it does not sound at all like a violin I think it has  a rather ugly sound.  I think the drums are  too loud and kind of drown out the rest of the song.

Project 5

I really liked the sound that I got. It sounds almost like an organ which is the sound I was trying to make. I am not really sure how I got this sound because I just fooled around with the sound until it sounded good. After tht I wrote the song and harmony and added a cymbal for the rythm and I was done.

Project 4

I used the Riff Machine to come with a basic melody that did'nt sound to weird and then made a drum loop.  In this piece I tried making an intro which I think came out nicely.  another thing I did diferently was I had two drum patterns the one for the intro and the other for the rest of the song.  i think the part that I transposed could have been a bit smoother but over all I do'nt think it turned out too badly.

Project 3

For this project I really had to rush because I was falling behind.  I used the basic drums a kick drum a snare and a high hat.  I used western glide FL Slayer for my lead guitar and Boo Bass and the Sim Sinth for the background.  I used the  Riff Machine for the Slayer and then used the ghost channel for the Sim Sinth and Boo Bass. I think once I added the Sim Sinth automation clip it sounded a little weird because when I chose the melody I had forgotten I would need to change every thing with the volume and Sim Sinth.  I am not really that pleased with it because it sounds like sometimes things don't really sound right, this may be because as I said I was rushed to hand it in so soon.

Project 2

For this project I used a kick drum a snare and a high hat for drums. For guitar I used something called western glide or something like that on FL Slayer. I really like it a lot compared to the other guitars in FL Slayer because it doesn't sound as much like an electric guitar (I don't like most electric guitars). I then used ghost patterns to write my Boo Bass part. I didn't think it sounded as nice when I transposed everything I'm not really sure why. I used the Riff Machine for my Slayer part and I think it sounded pretty nice.
